See even as I write this, I think oh I'll just throw a load of laundry on! Go to do that and discover we've blown a fuse. Spent 15 minutes pretending I could fix that before ringing Craig and finding out how to do it right. Have instead run an extension lead to plug the washing machine in elsewhere. Such is the life of a lazy lump like me!! Now I just need to find a lead and do the same for the fridge....
... and I'm back. Reset the plug board for the fridge (no mean feat, it's behind the pantry with a very slim gap - weight loss has it's uses, I got my hand in there) flicked the RCD on the main board and we're back in the power zone.
Life has slowly got back its routine round here, all 3 kids finally back in school fulltime. Not sure what the point of having the boys go for 40min one day to be honest. Just start the little buggers back fulltime and be done with it, they're not babies who need to be eased in to it or anything!
Matt is in his final year of high school, Year 13, which is a bit scarey to consider really. Still very keen on engineering school at uni next year and working towards that goal. James is in Year 11 which is his first senior year. Aleisha just started Year 9 as a junior at high school this week too. They are making me feel very middle aged!
Still managed to scrap a bit amongst the madness of buying stationery, checking uniform fit, and organising replacements. Think I hemmorhaged the equivalent of a fortnights pay into both high schools this year. Scarey!
Anyway here's some layouts I did - mainly in the evenings, via Skype, with Tracy. First up is Aleisha and her BFF Rachel at the school formal.
Aleisha receiving the cup at prizegiving for Sportswoman of the Year:
And my favourite of the lot, all three of my gorgeous kids at Carters Beach just before Christmas:
I actually have some more layouts from this trip but need to save something for next time!

Love the layouts, Nic!
"Why do they have them for 40 minutes on the first day?" Because we have to ease into it!!
